Internship (80 – 100%), Communications, Fundraising and Events
Do you want to have a unique opportunity to work in both a social enterprise and an NGO at the same time? During this exciting internship, you will learn how to find new partners and maintain good relationships with existing partners, how to build communities around important topics like sustainability and integration, and how to develop and execute innovative event formats. You will have the opportunity to meet and get to know sustainability professionals from all different industries in Switzerland.
Internship Duration: 6 months
Start Date: between April 1st and May 1st, 2019
Working hours: 80 – 100% (including participation in some evening events)
Salary: CHF 1000.- per month (by 100%)
Location: Zurich. You will split your time between offices at Social Fabric, and WWF Schweiz

GreenBuzz is an international network that engages its community and partners on sustainability topics, in order to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
GreenBuzz offers educational events and peer-to-peer learning opportunities; through its activities, GreenBuzz promotes action by and collaborations between citizens, NGOs, and both private and public sector organizations. GreenBuzz is a mostly volunteer-run organization.
The Role: Communication, Fundraising, and Events
At both Social Fabric and GreenBuzz you will be involved in member management, public communications (including preparing newsletters and social media posts), communications with stakeholders including foundations and other partner organisations, and the preparation of grant applications. You will also participate in the organization of events, and will have the opportunity to coordinate your own events.
You want to join the Social Fabric and GreenBuzz teams because you are interested in getting experience in organisations that create real impact. You are a good communicator, and can adjust easily to the frequently changing needs of small organisations. You want to take responsibility for your role, and be a part of solving current challenges at Social Fabric and at GreenBuzz. You have good organizational skills, and work well with people from all different cultural backgrounds. You are curious, and are eager to learn new skills.
Language requirements: You are a native German speaker, and are fluent in written and spoken English.
