Pablo is here to lend his expertise and guide you through the process of constructing simple basic patterns. You will learn to understand the technical aspects better that are required to create patterns and avoid fitting errors.

He can help you create the patterns from scratch or improve the already existing ones. If you have never tried pattern drawing before, he will gladly recommend a suitable system for you and draw it with you. No prior knowledge of pattern making is required. Just come as you are and get started on one of the most valuable skills in sewing to create clothes perfectly fitted for you.

His lessons are designed to lead you through the whole process: from constructing the pattern, crafting a prototype, cutting the fabrics to finishing the final piece of clothing. The style of clothing does not matter - he can help you with casual clothing, formal clothing for both men and women, or even children’s clothes. Pablo has been passionate about tailoring ever since he can remember. He did an apprenticeship at Theatre Basel, where he worked in the men’s tailoring department. During the 16 seasons, he worked on more than 600 operas, music and dance evenings, and plays. This allowed him to perfect his craft progressively and fuelled his love for costume and clothing. He later completed his BA degree in Fashion Design and Technology at Swiss Textile College in Zürich. In 2017, he opened his own studio, located at Paradeplatz Zürich.
Pablo has been with Social Fabric since the beginning and knows every little detail of our atelier. He already helped as a volunteer in the open sewing classes, taught various courses and is still a host for our members today.
